CSSBoards.com has adopted a new ranking system based on the number of posts a user has made. This new system mimics the ranks of U.S. Army officers starting from Warrant Officers and moving through the normal Commissioned Officer ranks.

For more info on the individual U.S. Army Officer ranks, visit this website:

Army Officer Ranks

We've made it a little easier to attain new ranks however it will still take many posts to reach the higher levels. A forum post ranking is typically used as a quick indicator for new users in determining the credibility or activity level of someone answering their post(s).

Creating new posts just to enhance your rank is highly frowned upon and is synonymous with spamming. In cases deemed as such, the posts in question will be deleted.

Review the new rank levels below and post any comments or questions you have in this thread. I'm interested in hearing from you.

Breakdown of the new system:

[ Warrant Officer I - 1 Post ]

[ Warrant Officer II - 5 Posts ]

[ Warrant Officer III - 10 Posts ]

[ Warrant Officer IV - 15 Posts ]

[ Warrant Officer V - 20 Posts ]

[ 2nd Lieutenant - 30 Posts ]

[ 1st Lieutenant - 50 Posts ]

[ Captain - 100 Posts ]

[ Major - 200 Posts ]

[ Lieutenant Colonel - 300 Posts ]

[ Colonel - 500 Posts ]

[ Brigadier General - 800 Posts ]

[ Major General - 1100 Posts ]

[ Lieutenant General - 1500 Posts ]

[ General - 2000 Posts ]

[ General of the Army - 2500 Posts ]

We may make changes to this system again in the future, this thread will be updated if that is to happen.
